At OTF Team Relay (Infinite Relay LLC), we believe your focus should be on your split times and your team, not on how your data is being handled. We’ve designed this policy to be straightforward and transparent.

To get you on the starting line, we only collect the bare essentials:

• First and Last Name: So we know who is on which team.

• Email Address: To send you race details, updates, and results.

• Phone / Mobile Number: For urgent race-day updates (like weather delays) and to enable team group text communication by your Team Captain. 

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data for one reason only: to organize and run the relay races. This includes verifying team rosters, communication from your Team Captain, and communicating logistics and general updates.

We do not sell, rent, or lease your personal information. 

We do not use your data for marketing purposes or share it with third-party advertisers.

3. Payment Processing & Financial Security

To keep your financial data as secure as possible, OTF Team Relay does not directly access, handle, or store your credit card information. We integrate with Stripe to process all race fees. Stripe handles consumer payment information and Personally Identifiable Information (PII) by acting as a PCI-certified service provider. They prioritize data security through:

• Tokenization and Encryption: Ensuring your sensitive data is protected.

• Strict Compliance: Adhering to global standards such as GDPR and CCPA.

• Secure Infrastructure: Stripe uses these methods to ensure that sensitive data, such as credit card numbers or banking details, does not touch our servers directly.

4. Your Rights and Choices

You are in the driver's seat regarding your personal information. You have the right to:

• Request Disclosure: Ask us exactly what PII we have collected about you.

• Request Correction: If your information is inaccurate and you are unable to update it yourself at app.OTFTeamRelay.com, let us know and we’ll fix it.

• Request Deletion: You can ask us to delete your PII from our records. (Note: Deleting your data before a race may result in the cancellation of your registration without a refund, and we will no longer have a way to track your participation).

5. Data Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the basic contact information we collect. By using Stripe for payments, we ensure your most sensitive financial data is handled by industry experts, keeping your risk to a minimum.
